Polish Zeolite Association extends a cordial invitation to participate in the 18th Zeolite Forum - the annual scientific conferennce of the Polish Zeolite Association. This will be held from 11th to 15th of September 2011 in Małe Ciche, which is a very charming and beautiful village located in the foothills of the Tatra Mountains, about 100 km from Krakow, Poland.

The Conference welcomes contributions from all fields of zeolite, microporous and mesoporous materials science, MOFs, including synthesis, structure, applications, characterisation, catalysis, etc.

The scientific program includes plenary lectures of invited speakers as well as 20-minute oral presentations of participants. The plenary lectures will be given by Prof. U. Olsbye (Norway), Dr. W. Roth (USA), Prof. N. Stock (Niemcy) oraz Prof. R. Walton (Wielka Brytania)

Abstracts of the presentations will be published in the Book of Abstracts. The authors will be also invited to submit their papers in full text for a special volume of Polish Zeolite Association issue.

The conference will be held in the "Tatry" Hotel - the place of accommodation, which offers not only the conference halls but also drink bar, billiards, sauna, SPA and fitness.

Apart from the scientific program some social events are planned: excursion to the Tatra Mountains (Kasprowy Wierch by cable car), a visit in Zakopane Aquapark, conference dinner and barbecue. It is also tradition that during Annual Polish Zeolite Association Conference the volleyball match is being played.

Buses to Zakopane depart from the Bus Station in Krakow, localised next to the Krakow Railway Station. This can be easily reached from the John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice by train. The buses from Zakopane (or from Krakow) to Małe Ciche will be also provided by the Organizers.

The expected conference fee, which covers the conference proceedings, accommodation, full board and all social events will be 260 Euro for regular participants and 170 Euro for students. Persons willing to take part in the Forum, are kindly requested to fill in the registration form, which will be activated before Feb, 15.
