Polish Zeolite Association is extending a cordial invitation to the 23nd Zeolite Forum, which will be held 21-25 June 2022 in Niepołomice, a beautiful town located about 20 km from Krakow, Poland.

The Conference welcomes contributions from all fields of zeolite other porous materials science, including synthesis, properties, applications, and related topics. The scientific program includes plenary lectures of the invited speakers as well as 20-minute oral presentations of the participants. Poster session is also planned. The official language of the Forum is English.

The following plenary speakers have so far accepted our invitation:
  • Prof. Dr. Roger Gläser (Institute of Chemical Technology, Universität Leipzig):
    "Utilizing Zeolitic Catalysts with Complex Hierarchical Pore Systems for Valorization of Renewable Resources",

  • Dr. Jiří Dědeček (J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague):
    "Enzymes inspired binuclear sites for activation of molecular oxygen and selective oxidation of hydrocarbons".

  • Prof. Pascal D. C. Dietzel (Department of Chemistry, Uniwersity of Bergen):
    "Structure-property relationships in open metal site MOFs".

  • Prof. Joeri Denayer (Department of Chemical Engineering, Vrije Universiteit Brussel):
    "Ferromagnetic zeolite composites for Inductive Heating Thermal Swing Adsorption".

The conference will be held in Hotel Novum (www.hotelnovum.pl), which is also the place of accommodation.

In addition to the scientific program some social events are planned: an excursion to Wi¶nicz (including a visit to the baroque castle), the conference dinner and a barbecue party. It is also tradition that during the Polish Zeolite Association meetings a volleyball match is played.

The conference fee covering the proceedings, room and board and all social events is 1700 PLN (ca 370 Euro) for regular participants and 1500 PLN (ca 320 Euro) for students, PhD students or members of the Polish Zeolite Association.
